Frequently Asked Questions
Will my text be distorted or stretched?
By default, we maintain the 'Aspect Ratio' of your content, adding white space (margins) if needed to fit the new size. You can choose to 'Stretch' if you explicitly want to fill the new page dimensions regardless of distortion.
Can I resize to a specific custom size?
Yes, select 'Custom' in the dropdown and enter your specific Width and Height values in millimeters or inches.
Does resizing reduce the file size (MB)?
Resizing changes the page definition ('MediaBox'), but doesn't necessarily compress images. If you are trying to make the file size smaller for email, use our 'Compress PDF' tool instead.
Is it safe for private documents?
Absolutely. Resizing is performed directly in your browser's memory. No document data is ever sent to our servers, ensuring your files remain 100% private.
